An unpredictable offense

Jon Gruden’s offense is already one that is hard to figure out when ran correctly, the only problem last year was that nobody knew how to run it. Now that Derek Carr is in his second season under Jon Gruden, everything should come together as it should.

Defenses work entirely off of the confidence they get in watching film and being able to read plays and audibles, but this Raiders team will be completely new. Not only will Carr be more comfortable running the system, but he has a much improved group of players at nearly every position.

Last season, Carr and the Raiders defeated the Broncos with Doug Martin as their top running back and Jordy Nelson as their top receiver. Both of these players had one of their best games of the season against the Broncos, so imagine what Josh Jacobs and Tyrell Williams may be able to do.
