Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders make a statement on Monday night

The Raiders came to play on Monday night, proving that they can win games without the star wide receiver who never really wanted to be a part of the team. Oakland got the ball to start off the game, and came out firing, as quarterback Derek Carr looked to be on a mission early on.
New tight end target Darren Waller made some big plays on the Raiders opening drive.

It did not take long for Carr to hook up with his new WR1, as he found Tyrell Williams in the end zone on the opening drive.
Carr connects with Williams again on a long third down completion to continue the Raiders drive.
