The Oakland Raiders were faced with the daunting task of heading to London to face the 3-1 Chicago Bears. In a game where the Raiders weren’t given much of a chance heading into Sunday, they surprised many with their 24-21 performance.
The Raiders owned the first half of play, but were then neutralized by the Bears once coming out of halftime. Nonetheless, the Raiders were able to come away victorious, earning a 3-2 record heading into their bye week.
After all the stigma looming over the Raiders heading into week one, it’s clear that they’ve exceeded expectations up to this point. Beating the Bears in London was a huge statement win by Jon Gruden’s squad.
Oakland has their bye, then they’ll round out their egregious road trip with stops to Green Bay and Houston.
