Los Angeles Chargers

The AFC West upset special of the week falls on the shoulders of the Los Angeles Chargers, who were at home and six-point favorites over a Pittsburgh Steelers team that was down to their third-string quarterback in Devlin Hodges. Instead, the Steelers flipped the script and pulled off a stunner on Sunday Night Football.

Pittsburgh wanted to run the offense through their running back, and James Conner obliged. Conner had a pair of touchdowns, both in the air and on the ground, as the Steelers controlled the time of possession to jump to an early 24-0 lead. Phillip Rivers and the Chargers looked stunned on the sidelines.

Rivers attempted to lead the comeback, connecting with Hunter Henry for 100 yards receiving and two touchdowns, but the damage was already done. Los Angeles fell 24-17, as the Chargers were held to just 32 yards rushing, while Keenan Allen was limited to 33 yards receiving on two catches.

Next. Carr is not Mahomes, and doesn't have to be. dark
