Raiders keep playoff hopes alive with win over the Chargers

Looking Ahead

The Oakland Raiders will wrap up their final regular season as the Oakland Raiders next Sunday, as they travel to Denver to take on Drew Lock and the Broncos inside Mile High. This has not been a kind stadium to the Raiders in recent memory, so you can expect a tough game as they close out the regular season.

At one point this season, the Raiders appeared to be destined for the playoffs, and heading into Week 17, they actually have a chance to get there.. Lock has shown flashes that he is the quarterback of the future for the Broncos, and a win in the final regular season game for Denver would give him a ton of confidence going into his first offseason as the presumed starter.

The Raiders have a lot to play for on Sunday, and they would like nothing more than to put a win on the board, and hopefully get the help they need to clinch the final playoff spot in the AFC. It remains to be seen how many changes will come to this roster next season, but with one game left in the season, it is nice to see them playing meaningful football.
