Linebacker. Ducks . Troy Dye. 121. player. 820.

The linebacker room is going to look much different in 2020, with the additions of Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski that were made in free agency.

Nick Morrow had a second round tender placed on him and Kyle Wilbur will once again be on the roster.  There is still work to be done with only four linebackers on the depth chart.  If you recall last season the position was decimated by suspension and injury.

Troy Dye joins the group and rounds out a group that now becomes a strength in 2020.  Dye has plenty of experience playing four productive years at Oregon.

He will battle for a starting role alongside Littleton and Kwiatkoski.  Like the majority of NFL teams, the Raiders spend less time in their 4-3 base defense and more in the nickel.

Due to Dye’s coverage abilities he has a legit chance to see the field with Littleton on passing downs. Imagine a Raiders defense with not one but two linebackers that can erase tight ends from the passing attack.
