The Las Vegas Raiders added talent at linebacker this offseason, but they should have their eyes on Wisconsin linebacker Zack Baun this April.

Mike Mayock has been hard at work improving the Las Vegas Raiders defensive personnel this off-season. While there are still holes, some glaring issues have been solved, primarily two starting linebacker positions.

Unfortunately the Raiders still have question marks at just about every position. They have invested draft capital at DE but the book isn’t yet written on Clelin Ferrell and Maxx Crosby. Linebacker has been patched up but still lacks a 3rd player who won’t be a liability on passing downs while the defense is in a 4-3.

Killing two birds with one stone should be a priority given the lack of depth across this defense. There is a player who should be available when the Raiders pick in the first round who can make an impact at both of these positions, and that player is linebacker Zack Baun from Wisconsin.

We take a look at what kind of impact this prospect could have on this Raiders defense.
