Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah

Jaylon Johnson is another player whose stock has been all over the place, and when it comes to cornerbacks, nobody can tell when players will be selected. Last season, Greedy Williams was supposed to be the best corner in the draft, but was passed up by teams who chose other corners on multiple occasions.

I believe that Johnson is going to go much higher than most people believe, and if Gruden and Mike Mayock really like him, they will take him, regardless of where mock drafts have him going. This pick would remind me of the Clelin Ferrell pick last season, where the Raiders selected him much earlier than expected, proving that the Mayock does not care what any mock drafts have to say, and he will select the player he wants when he wants to select them.

The Raiders badly need help at cornerback and Jaylon Johnson is no doubt one of the best corners in the class. This pick would surely frustrate Raiders fans, but this is not out of the realm of possibility, and he just may end up being one of the premier corners to come out in 2020.
