The Las Vegas Raiders took care of two of their needs on Thursday night, but entering Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft, there is still work to be done.

The first round of the NFL Draft is now behind us, and the Las Vegas Raiders took care of two major positions of need with their picks at 12 and 19 overall. The Raiders needed to address both the wide receiver group, as well as the cornerback slot, and they did so successfully on Thursday night.

In Henry Ruggs III, Jon Gruden gets his version of Tyreek Hill and Derek Carr gets a viable number one option at receiver.  Cornerback Damon Arnette, who Mike Mayock raved about in his conference call following night one of the draft brings experience, toughness, and versatility to a  secondary that has the pieces in place to make a big jump.

With wideout and corner no longer pressing concerns, Mayock and Jon Gruden will shift their attention to other position groups.  As of now, the Raiders do not hold a pick in round two, however last year Mayock was very active trading multiple times in round two, eventually picking Trayvon Mullen at pick 40.

The Raiders are scheduled to select three times in round three (80, 81, 91) so it will be a very busy night. Here is a look at some of the needs that remain for the Raiders and who are some the options at those positions.
