Las Vegas Raiders add more talent with their 2020 UDFA class

Madre Harper
Heading into the draft, Las Vegas desperately needed help at cornerback. Step one of addressing this issue was picking Damon Arnette and Amik Robertson, and signing Madre Harper gives the position group even more depth.
Before transferring to Division I FCS Southern Illinois, Harper spent a couple of seasons at Oklahoma State. He struggled to see the field in Stillwater, but the change of scenery served him well as he thrived in Carbondale. In two years as a Saluki, he had two interceptions and racked up 20 pass breakups, while earning All-Conference honors as a senior.
At 6’2″ and 190 pounds with a 4.41-second 40-yard dash time, Harper possesses the ideal size and speed for an NFL corner. If he can prove himself on special teams, he’ll have a fighter’s chance at making the roster.
Here’s what NFL Network’s Lance Zierlein had to say about Harper.
