Lynn Bowden Jr. can do a little bit of everything with a football, and fans of the Las Vegas Raiders should get hyped by the video he tweeted out Thursday.
During his time at Kentucky, Lynn Bowden Jr. did whatever was asked of him to help the team, whether it was playing wide receiver, quarterback, or running back. Now a member of the Las Vegas Raiders, he brings a skill set that is hard to matchup against, and should be all over the field in the Silver and Black as well.
Starting off his career as a wideout and running back, Bowden became one of the premier playmakers in the SEC, before injuries to multiple Wildcats quarterbacks forced him into that role as a junior. As the team’s signal-caller, Bowden ran all over SEC defenses, rushing for more than 1500 yards and 13 scores, while also throwing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns.
The Raiders came calling with the No. 80 overall pick, as the continued to add playmakers around seventh-year starting quarterback Derek Carr. If you want a taste of what he can do with the ball, take a look at the video he posted to Twitter on Thursday.

Listed as a running back as he enters the NFL, Bowden is going to be expected to play a Joker role with the team as a rookie. He can run it, catch it, and throw it, and that kind of playmaker can give the opposing defensive coordinators nightmares.
Going into the 2020 NFL season, there is a lot to like about this Raiders offense, and Bowden is going to be a gadget player that is going to have his fair share of big moments. A selfless player, and person, he always put the team before himself, and is the kind of player that you can build around.
Incredibly, Bowden led the SEC in rushing from his quarterback spot, averaging an eye-popping 7.9 yards per carry. A first-team All-American, Bowden was given the Paul Hornung Award as the most versatile player in college football, and Raiders fans cannot wait to see some of that versatility in Vegas.
