Should the Las Vegas Raiders still be in the market for an edge rusher?

Arden Key having a solid camp

One big question mark heading into the 2020 season was that of Arden Key, who the coaches have said needed to stay healthy if he wanted to stick around. Key has taken that to heart this offseason, looking like the dominant edge rusher that had first round buzz when he came out of LSU.

Key’s resurgence this offseason is key for a 2018 draft class that has yielded very little results outside of Kolton Miller and Maurice Hurst. With Carl Nassib joining the group this offseason, Key will have to fight to be that third edge rusher on this roster behind Ferrell and Crosby, and he is doing everything possible to be just that this offseason.

If Ferrell can take another step forward in 2020, and Key can finally stay healthy, then the Raiders should have all they need on the current roster to be able to get the edge consistently this season. However, if they can get a guy like Ngakoue or Clowney on deals that make sense for the long-term health of the franchise, then it may be too tempting to pass up.
