4 Saints the Las Vegas Raiders should worry about in Week 2

No. 3: Tight End Jared Cook

Tight Ends have been, and will be a problem for the Raiders until they prove they can stop one, and we all know too well that Jared Cook is a pretty decent tight end.  His time with the Raiders came to an end when Darren Waller broke out at the end of the 2018 season, and the franchise decided to go with him over paying Cook.

Even though it has worked out for the Raiders, he then went to New Orleans, and was successful in his first year, while scoring more touchdowns than he did in his two seasons with the Raiders combined. Las Vegas needs Cory Littleton, Nicholas Morrow, or Johnathan Abram to finally shut down the Tight End position.

No. 2: Edge Rusher Cameron Jordan

Cameron Jordan is a beast on the football field, and as we saw on Sunday, he won’t pull any punches.  But all jokes aside, even though the Raiders have one of the best offensive lines in the league, he is going to be a lot for them to handle, especially if Trent Brown is unavailable due to his calf injury.

Jordan is the type of player who can be a game wrecker, so the Raiders need to game plan to make sure he doesn’t beat them. If they can keep him off of Derek Carr throughout the game, Las Vegas can get plays to develop deep, and that opens up every facet of their offense.
