Las Vegas Raiders at New England Patriots: 3 things to watch in Week 3
Raiders Offensive Line Health
Coming into the 2020 NFL season, the offensive line was looking like a top-3 unit in the league, but injuries have really taken their toll on the starting five. With the news of Richie Incognito going in the injured reserve, and right tackles Trent Brown and Sam Young still not practicing, its going to be Denzelle Good at tackle once again and John Simpson making his first career start for the injured Incognito.
Simpson played well Monday night when he came in, but you know Belichick is going to try make him as uncomfortable as he can. Good has performed really well at right tackle so far this year, and the overall solid play by the depth guys along the offensive line is a real testament to what Tom Cable has done with the group.
Not only has Cable and the coaching staff done a great job, but also to these players to stay ready and be willing and able to do whatever is needed for the team. I just can’t wait to see the full potential of this offense when the Raiders have their whole starting line together, but that may not happen for quite some time.
