Las Vegas Raiders X-Factors against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4

Offense: Darren Waller

A tight end as an x-factor may seem to be an abnormal thing to proclaim, but in terms of a talent like Darren Waller, this is not out of the ordinary. The Week 3 loss to the New England Patriots was a true indicator of just how much the fifth-year vet is needed within the offense.

Especially considering the injuries to the Raiders depleted receiving corps, the focus of the Raiders passing game will once again go through Waller on Sunday. In his last outing at Allegiant, Waller exploded for 12 catches, and there will need to be a repeat performance, as Bryan Edwards has already been ruled out, and Henry Ruggs III is likely to follow suit.

Through his first two games Waller had 18 catches to go along with 150 yards, but against the Patriots, his two catches for a minuscule nine yards was the difference in what was a blowout loss for the Raiders. The X-factor here for Waller is plain and simple, find the tight end early and often. With his size and incredible speed he is a key to victory for the Raiders in Vegas.
