Las Vegas Raiders X-Factors against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4

Defense: Blitz Josh Allen

This may seem like a risky call here, considering Josh Allen has thrown for over 1,000 yards this season to go along with 10 touchdowns to only one interception. But there is a flaw in the armor of Allen, and that is his ability to protect the ball.

Through three games, he has fumbled three times, losing all three, and his Bills nearly blew what appeared to be an insurmountable lead on Sunday. The dual-threat quarterback is a tough guy to handle, but he has shown when pressured he is prone to turning over the ball, and getting him to make mistakes has to be priority No. 1 for Paul Guenther on Sunday.

Playing a conservative zone defense vs the unpredictable Allen could be risky, as his arm and legs are both a threat at all times, but if the Raiders can provide more blitz packages come Sunday, there is a good chance the pressure can lead Allen to commit multiple turnovers, and could be the X-factor in a Raider victory.

Well there you have it. There may be some more keys to victory of course, but with these moves in mind, these deciding x-factors would definitely keep the Raiders competitive and moving forward with a Week 4 victory. Will the Raiders be 2-0 in their new home? Only time will tell, but with a solid gameplan the Raiders have more than a chance to give the Buffalo Bills their first blemish of the season.
