Las Vegas Raiders score 40pts, hand Kansas City Chiefs first loss

Looking Ahead

Las Vegas has their bye next week, and the timing could not be more suited for this roster. After finishing a formidable schedule through the first five weeks, coming off a huge win over the Chiefs, the bye gives the Raiders a chance to refocus and more importantly, get healthier. Having depth at their disposal will be vital to taking advantage of a favorable schedule down the stretch.

Being as healthy as possible will also be key in facing the next opponent on deck: Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. No stranger to injuries this season themselves, Tampa Bay will undoubtedly be a threat when they visit Allegiant Stadium on Sunday Night Football. And if the Bucs have all their weapons at their disposal, then the challenge will be that much greater.

The bye week comes at an opportune time for the raiders. After enduring this start to their schedule, Las Vegas must be ready to be back and focused come Week 7, with the possibility of getting a significant win over Tom Brady and the Bucs on primetime television.
