5 things the Las Vegas Raiders need to work on during bye week

Continue to build chemistry between Carr and receivers

Derek Carr appears to have a better connection to this receiving group than he has had with any other since 2016, but there are still some things that could be improved upon. Carr is finally seeing his receivers open down field and is confident enough to let the ball fly.

With that being said, we could see even more of this between Carr and his two new deep threats in Henry Ruggs and Nelson Agholor, as this offense has the potential to be an exciting big play team. Jon Gruden has stated that Ruggs is still not completely comfortable with the offense yet, especially with his time missed.

As impressive as Carr has been, it would be great for him to create even more chemistry with his new receivers in Ruggs and Agholor, as well as finding ways to get other players more involved like Foster Moreau or Rico Gafford, who Carr missed by just a couple feet on a potential touchdown last week. If Edwards is able, him and Carr still have a lot of work to do, as well.

Bryan Edwards is also hopefully returning after the bye week, and from what we saw of him, he could be special as well.
