Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 things to watch in Week 7

Josh Jacobs vs. Bucs run defense

Coming into this game against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Tampa Bay defense is elite against the pass, and the run. Tampa Bay allows less than 60 yards per game on the ground, so finding room to operate could prove tough for the Raiders and their star running back Josh Jacobs.

Jacobs is one of those backs who is downright tough to take down, and you can be sure that even against this Bucs run defense, Jon Gruden is going to want to get him the ball early, and often. If Derek Carr and company are taking shots downfield, that should open up some running room for Jacobs, who has yet to eclipse the 100-yard mark this season.

In games where Jacobs gets 20-or-more carries, the Raiders are 3-0, and he is averaging 86 yards per contest and has all five of his touchdowns. Las Vegas needs to establish the run against the Buccaneers if they want to have any chance to win on Sunday, and they have the back that can help them do just that.
