Defense

Edge Myles Garrett and Cornerback Denzel Ward

The Browns defense, like the Raiders unit, have had their struggles this season, but they do have some elite talent on that side of the ball. Edge rusher Myles Garrett and cornerback Denzel Ward are two young and dynamic players at their position groups, and both will have to be gameplanned against in a big way on Sunday.

Ward is one of the better on-ball cornerbacks in the league this season, and continues to get better after joining Mayfield as a first round pick in 2018. Garrett already has nine sacks this season, including at least one in the last six games, so you can expect the Browns to dial up plenty of opportunities for him against the Raiders.

Next. Las Vegas Raiders Derek Carr should have career-day against Cleveland. dark

With Trent Brown returning to practice on Friday, that is a major upgrade to this Raiders offensive line, and will help immensely against Garrett in Week 8. Keeping Carr clean in this weather is going to be a major priority, because we have seen this season that when he takes shots downfield, he has the weapons to make big plays happen.
