Another week, another test for the Las Vegas Raiders offensive line

Raiders could be without multiple starters in Week 9

In terms of the starting offensive line that was supposed to anchor this team heading into the season, three members could be out against the Los Angeles Chargers. Richie Incognito is out still, as he is on injured reserve, and Trent Brown is back on the COVID-19 list, as he continues to have symptoms.

In addition to Incognito and Brown, the Raiders could be without Kolton Miller, who has battled through injuries throughout his NFL career. After playing in all 39 games for the Raiders since being drafted in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Miller is dealing with an ankle injury, and will be a game-time decision on Sunday

Looking at his past, there is good reason to think Miller is in the lineup against the Chargers, as he is regarded as the toughest guy Jon Gruden has ever coached. He has become a legitimate left tackle at the NFL level, and will be needed against this Chargers pass rush.

Parker has become a valuable asset for the Raiders, and should start in Brown’s place this Sunday. The team will need their depth linemen to continue to play at a high level if they want to move to 2-0 in the AFC West, and I believe they will do just that if called upon once again in Week 9.
