Recapping AFC West 2020 Week 9: Raiders move to 5-3

Denver Broncos lose to the Atlanta Falcons

Just like last week, the Denver Broncos fell down by double digits in the first half the only difference is they weren’t able to complete the comeback.  The Atlanta Falcons started to pour it on in the first half of their game against the Broncos with solid performances from quarterback Matt Ryan and Wide Receiver Julio Jones, but just like every lead that the Falcons have the Broncos started to chip away.

It took a stop on the last offense drive for the Falcons to secure the win.  Drew Lock once again played well in the second half, finishing with 313 yards two touchdowns and a pick, while rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy played excellent as he had seven receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown.  Jeudy’s performance will be one to watch going forward because the Raiders chose Ruggs over him in this past year’s draft.

The Broncos travel to Las Vegas, as they take on the Raiders inside Allegiant Stadium in an AFC West battle. Denver is a team that should not be taken lightly, but also a team this Raiders team should beat.
