Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 10

Henry Ruggs III

Henry Ruggs is a huge part of the Raiders offense, whether or not he is catching the ball, or getting targets.  He is such a threat to break a big play every time he does get the ball in his hands that defenses have to account for him no matter what.  His receiving stats are lower than other rookie wide receivers that was drafted behind him, yes that true, but he was never going to be a ten-catch a game guy at this point.

He was supposed to the deep threat that Nelson Agholor has turned into, but him and Derek Carr have had a little bit of trouble hooking up these past few weeks.  Derek Carr is confident that him and Ruggs will get on the same page soon, and even though the Raiders offense is clicking on several levels, once they get a rhythm down this offense will be even deadlier than it already is.  Gruden just needs to call some of the plays that Ruggs had a lot of success with in college just to get his confidence up, but once it does, watch out defenses of the National Football League.

I’m pretty confident that the Raiders will get this win on Sunday.  No matter the record, division rivals are never overlooked, even with the record that they do have, and date with the Chiefs coming the week after.  The only reason I’m remotely worried about this game is because of the defense.

Drew Lock has struggled in the first halves of games this season, but with this porous Raiders defense, and Gruden’s outright refusal to keep attacking the defense in the second half of games, this could be a nail-biter. Las Vegas is the better team, so they just need to strap in for four quarters and get the job done.
