Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 Bold predictions for Week 11

The Raiders win and sweep the season series

I’m calling my shot here.  I believe in this Raiders team, and it has always ended badly in the past for the Raiders, but not anymore. Derek Carr has always been a top-five to top-ten quarterback in the league in my eyes, and he is having a breakout season in 2020.

Every week, I watch other teams play and see the type of plays other players make, like amazing catches, sacks, turnovers, and scoring on special teams, and I always wonder why the Raiders don’t have players who can just go out there and make these type of plays when needed.

They have those kind of players now.

Hunter Renfrow scored a punt return touchdown, but it was called back due to penalty after a big return was called back earlier in the game.  Nelson Agholor, Ruggs, and Darren Waller have dropped a few balls, but overall, have been making big plays in the pass game.  Josh Jacobs can run over or around any defender he wants, and seems to be getting back into his rookie year form.

This isn’t the Raiders team of the past three seasons, or the last decad,e this is a brand new team with a bunch of playmakers.  The defense is still a bit of a worry, but I feel they have been improving and I think they earned a little bit of trust after the last game.

The Chiefs wanted to make the drive around Arrowhead Stadium into a big deal and make it into some extra motivation.  Good, they are going to need it this Sunday, as this Raiders team is hungry and ready to win.
