The 6-4 Las Vegas Raiders hit the road in Week 12, traveling to Atlanta to take on the 3-7 Falcons inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Sporting the same record they had last season after ten games, the Las Vegas Raiders will head to Atlanta on Sunday to take on the 3-7 Falcons. In 2019, the Raiders got out to a 6-4 start and looked to be headed to the playoffs due to a soft schedule in front of them, only to win one game the rest of the way.

This 2020 team is built differently, and a huge reason is the play of quarterback Derek Carr, who was booed out of the Coliseum at the end of last season. Carr has been playing with a huge chip on his shoulder, and looks like an MVP candidate, and can put another stamp on what has been a terrific season this Sunday against a porous Falcons defense.

Game Preview

Atlanta has one of the worst pass defenses in football, and they could be short-handed on that side of the ball as well, as Dante Fowler is listed as questionable. They have some solid players on their defense, like linebacker Deion Jones and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, but as a whole, they won’t be able to stop Carr and this Raiders offense.

Josh Jacobs was added to the injury list late in the week with a hip issue, but I do not foresee him being limited against Atlanta. On defense, the Raiders are starting to turn the corner, and they will be healthier than they were against the Chiefs when they had multiple starters out due to COVID-19.

Overall, this is a game Las Vegas should win and should win easily.
