The Las Vegas Raiders were embarrassed against the Atlanta Falcons last week, and here are three things to watch in this week’s matchup in New York.

The east coast has never been kind to the Raiders franchise, and their schedule for the 2020 season left open the possibility of a “trap game” to occur. To the dismay of players and fans alike, that trap game came last Sunday, as the Raiders were blown out 43-6 to an Atlanta Falcons team that was without Julio Jones and Todd Gurley.

The result wasn’t about how the Falcons won, but more so about the fashion in which Las Vegas lost.

Now, the Raiders have one week to right the ship, as they head back to the east coast to face the winless New York Jets, who happened to deliver the Raiders a lackluster 34-3 loss the last time they met. If Jon Gruden and these Raiders are serious about making a playoff push, then a repeat performance is not an option on Sunday.

Las Vegas must be disciplined, the players must be motivated, and Gruden needs to ensure this team does not play down to their opponent, else the Raiders face the possibility of granting the Jets their first win of the season.

Here are three things to watch on Sunday as the Raiders look to get back on track.
