Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: 2020 Week 15 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Tight Ends

Darren Waller – Start ‘Em

Darren Waller keeps on chugging along as a top tight end in fantasy, and the NFL, and against the Colts, he put up seven catches for 75 yards on ten targets. Waller did not score this week but was targeted in the end zone on a deep pass that was picked off in one of the plays of the season by Colts CB Kenny Moore.

Waller continues to get a high volume of targets and that trend should continue especially with Henry Ruggs out of the lineup. In the previous matchup, with the Raiders focusing on running the ball, Waller had five catches for 22 yards and a touchdown but was still targeted ten times.

The Chargers are currently 14th in fantasy points allowed to tight ends, but as we have seen this season, Waller is matchup proof with very few exceptions. He may not always put up massive point totals, but is always targeted enough times to justify a start, and has big-play potential every time he touches the ball.

Keep it rolling this week with Waller and hopefully, we can see another performance like the one he put on against the New York Jets.

Jason Witten/Foster Moreau – Sit ‘Em

Week 14 was Foster Moreau’s turn to make a big play, as the second-year tight end scored on a 47-yard catch and run where he showed some elusiveness in the open field to make a Colts defender miss. Moreau has been out-snapped in just about every game by Jason Witten, and that may have been due to the Raiders’ injuries on the offensive line.

Hopefully, now that the line is close to being fully healthy, we can see more of Moreau in the lineup as he is the far superior offensive weapon but he is not likely to be a factor in fantasy unless he is the starter.
