This offense can win games

In seven of the eight victories on the season, you can say the offense won despite the effort of the defense to lose the game, as the first Broncos game was really the only game where they performed well.  The offense once again carried this team to victory after a poor defensive play put them behind late in the fourth quarter, a storyline throughout the 2020 NFL season.

Even though the Broncos turned the Raiders’ offense over four times, with two interceptions and two fumbles, they still managed to put up 32 points against their defense on the road. The offense has been the strong point of this season and will be moving forward with Derek Carr at quarterback, this after reports came out that the Raiders have no intentions of moving on from him.

Carr finished with 371 yards and two touchdowns to go with the two interceptions earlier mentioned.

The running game took a while to get going, but eventually, Josh Jacobs got loose, rushing for 89 yards and two touchdowns, including the last one to bring the game to a one-point deficit.  After a ton of offseason and training camp hype, rookie third-round pick Bryan Edwards finally had a great catch for a 26-yard touchdown, and the team is hoping to get more of that next season.

Overall, it was a great team effort on that side of the ball.
