The Las Vegas Raiders have several needs they will look to fill in free agency, here are 4 players from the AFC North that could help fill those needs.
The Las Vegas Raiders are gearing up for the start of free agency after making several moves to clear up cap space and allow them to pursue some of their targets. Some of these moves include releasing or trading three of the Week 1 starters on the offensive line and cutting some dead weight on the roster in Tyrell Williams and Lamarcus Joyner.
There are still several moves to be made including releasing a few other players from the 2020 roster but the end goal is still the same, build out a competitive roster and make the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 season. Most of the upgrades for 2021 will be on the defensive side of the ball and what better place to get defensive talent than the AFC North?
The AFC North had two defenses in the top 3 of the NFL in points allowed and even the woeful Cincinnati Bengals that finished 4-11-1 were 22nd in the league in that category. The division was one of the best in football with 3 teams advancing to the playoffs and they have plenty of defensive talent all across the board. They had some pretty good offenses too so we might not just see defensive players here.
Let’s start with a player that might cause some controversy.
