Las Vegas Raiders fill major holes early in 7-round 2021 NFL mock draft
By Brad Weiss
By trading away both Rodney Hudson and Gabe Jackson, the Las Vegas Raiders sent away two-thirds of the starting interior of their offensive line. At one point this offseason, it looked like Raiders were getting rid of all three starters, as they released Richie Incognito, and then brought him back on a new deal.
Las Vegas has added Nick Martin at center, where he will battle with Andre James for the starting role, and Incognito returns alongside Denzelle Good, who was also brought back on a new deal. John Simpson is entering Year 2 as well in the interior, but this team needs more depth, and Josh Myers from Ohio State is a guy who could come in and start right away.
Myers is one of the more versatile interior offensive linemen in this draft class, and he has played in some big games during his time at Ohio State. Mayock loves to draft players from big-time programs, and as we have seen recently with this Raiders offensive line, they can never have too much depth.
