With the draft just days away, the Las Vegas Raiders have plenty of holes on their roster and will have several players and positions to pick from in round one.

The Las Vegas Raiders have struggled to hit on their first-round picks over the last couple of years, so they absolutely have to hit this year. The team has several different players and positions to pick from, as the team could improve at just about every position on defense, as well as the offensive line.

Let’s take a look at what positions the Raiders need most heading into the draft.

No. 5: Defensive Tackle

Defensive tackle does not seem to be a position that is discussed often for the Raiders, and with the lack of defensive tackles in this draft, I am not surprised. With that being said, the Raiders have a poor run defense, generate little to no pass rush in the middle, and got rid of Maurice Hurst, their most productive defensive tackle when on the field.

I assume we will see a lot of Clelin Ferrell at DT with Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakkou on the outside, but Solomon Thomas has never produced how everyone expected, Johnathan Hankins is primarily a run stopper, and although the Raiders have added a few more decent tackles, I would not be completely surprised if the Raiders selected Christian Barmore in the first.
