3 Reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will make the playoffs in 2021
3 Reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will make the playoffs in 2021
Momentum and Commitment
There is no doubt about it, Las Vegas has a tough schedule in 2021. The season opens up on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens before traveling to the east coast on short rest to play the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Later in the schedule, Las Vegas will play formidable opponents such as the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, and the Kansas City Chiefs, of course. They’ll also be playing in four different primetime games, so, all-in-all, it won’t be an easy schedule for Las Vegas. If they want to have success week in and week out, they’ll have to be able to carry their momentum from each win and channel it into their play.
Commitment will be a major factor too. After all, we heard all last year that one of the main reasons that the team fell apart was because of a lack of commitment and accountability on the team. Gruden and Carr, as leaders of the team, will have to find ways to make sure that the team stays committed and continuously works to improve each week.
As stated earlier, Las Vegas finished around .500 after going 6-3 to start the season. If the team hopes to make the playoffs in 2021 and make a run at the Super Bowl, then they’ll have to be completely locked in and compete together as a unit. The commitment in the locker room will have to be present at all times, and the team will have to find ways to carry their positive momentum from game to game if they want this to happen.
