Defensive Tackle
The Raiders manage to get to the quarterback only 21 times last season, as sacks continue to be an issue for this defense. Hopefully, with a new defensive coordinator at the helm in Gus Bradley, they can improve in this stat line, with new faces on both the edge and in the interior.
Players like Quinton Jefferson, Darius Philon, and Solomon Thomas will be looking to earn roster spots as veterans, and I really like the addition of Darius Stills as an undrafted free agent. This is a position group that is very important in Bradley’s scheme, and while the Raiders have plenty of bodies heading into camp, it will be interesting to see who steps up and earns a major role.
There has been plenty of movement along the defensive line for the Raiders in recent years, and the hope is that the new faces can come in and actually get some push. Las Vegas will need to get more pressure if they want to do anything of substance on defense in 2021, and the hope is they can find the right group on the interior of the defensive line over the next few months.
