Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 53-man roster prediction after preseason finale

Tight End (3): Darren Waller, Foster Moreau, Derek Carrier

One of the biggest questions of the offseason has been who will be Las Vegas’ top receiving target. Names like Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards are always in the discussion, but the true top receiver for Las Vegas is Darren Waller.

Last year, Waller set a team record for the most receptions in a single season with 107. There is no reason why Waller can’t repeat the same type of production in 2021.

Foster Moreau, aka “Baby Gronk,” is expected to have a big year in 2021. He had a great rookie season until he got hurt and was forced to sit behind Jason Witten. Now that he has retaken the spot as the second tight end, he has a chance to be a serious receiving threat.

Moreau should be used religiously in the red zone, as his size and strength make him a dominant presence in one-on-one.

Derek Carrier is just an all-around, solid depth player for Las Vegas. He’s a great blocker and he can make an occasional reception when needed. Carrier’s talents round out the talented tight end group of Las Vegas.
