Las Vegas Raiders stacking talent for the 2021 practice squad

Defensive Signings

Las Vegas brought back defensive players as well, with those players being defensive linemen Gerri Green and Niles Scott. Much like some of the offensive players, these two defensemen will likely be practice squad players for most of the season unless disaster hits.

Nevertheless, they’ll be important aspects of the team’s practices going forward.

The team also signed former Cleveland Brown cornerback Robert Jackson and former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Jordan Brown. Jackson has played in 16 games for Cleveland, where he has nine total tackles and one pass defended. He’s also allowed a 60% completion percentage in the 10 times he was targeted.

Brown, on the other hand, Brown has had no playing time since he was drafted by Cincinnati in the seventh round of the 2019 draft, so, both of these guys will likely just be practice squad players all year.

So far, Las Vegas has made some good additions to the practice squad, as some players have the potential to eventually make the roster at some point in time. In the next few days, it will be interesting to see if anyone is added to or removed from the group.
