Derek Carr’s Clutch Ending

Derek Carr being clutch at the end of games is not a surprise, as he has orchestrated plenty of fourth-quarter comebacks, but it was how he did it on Monday night. As I mentioned in the paragraph prior, Carr and the offense struggled to get anything going in the first half of the game, scoring only one touchdown before halftime.

Then, Carr and the offense, especially the offensive line got more and more comfortable and started opening things up for not only Waller, but also Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards, and even Kenyan Drake. Utilizing all of his weapons made Carr nearly impossible to defend against, and he finished the game with over 430 passing yards.

In fact, Carr looked like the 2016 version of himself, one who stood strong in the pocket, delivered the ball all over the field, and really put his team on his back. For those who doubt his skills, he made a real statement on Monday night.

Football season is here and the Las Vegas Raiders have everything to prove in 2021, but can they do it with such a grueling schedule?

The Raiders will travel next week to take on another tough test, as they go to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers, who just beat one of the favorites to win the AFC in the Buffalo Bills. After this game, the Raiders showed they can compete with any team in the league, and hopefully, the Raiders can walk away 2-0 against the AFC North early on.
