The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to move their record to 4-0 on the young season, and here are some bold predictions for their Week 4 matchup.

The Las Vegas Raiders are in the midst of the best start the franchise has had to a season since 2002, as they are sitting atop the AFC West with a perfect 3-0 record. After defeating the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Miami Dolphins, respectively, the Raiders are one of five remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.

They will look to hold firm in that position this week as they visit the rival Los Angeles Chargers for a Monday Night Football showdown.

After overcoming a disastrous start to the game last week against the Dolphins, the Raiders rallied from 14-0 to defeat Miami in overtime, in a game that the Raider teams that started 2-0 in years past most certainly would have lost.

This team is different.

The defense has proven through three games to be a completely different unit than last year, under new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley. The offense looks much improved as well, as Derek Carr is having the best start to a season of his career. Through three games this season, it looks as if Gruden’s long-term plans have started to finally pay off.

Monday night is arguably the Raiders’ biggest test yet, with Justin Herbert and the Chargers waiting for them in Los Angeles. The Chargers have begun the season 2-1, their only loss coming at the hands of the Cowboys in a close game.

Herbert looked phenomenal last week in a win at Arrowhead Stadium over the Chiefs, in what looked to be a statement that Los Angeles is a real threat to Kansas City’s AFC West crown, not just the undefeated Broncos and Raiders.

In what should be a thrilling Monday Night Football game between these two heated rivals, let’s take a look at a few bold predictions for the upcoming week 4 matchup.
