Las Vegas Raiders: Foster Moreau celebrates National Tight End Day in style (video)
By Brad Weiss
The Las Vegas Raiders got on the board in the second quarter of their matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles thanks to Foster Moreau.
Going into their matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Las Vegas Raiders knew they would be without one of their top options, as Darren Waller was ruled inactive. Waller, one of the better talents in all of football, is the No. 1 target for Derek Carr and the passing game, so him being out was a big blow to the offense.
Luckily for the Silver and Black, they have an excellent No. 2 tight end in Foster Moreau, who made his presence felt in this one in the first half. In fact, his touchdown from Carr in the second quarter brought the team back to tie the Eagles 7-7, and he did so on National Tight End Day.
Moreau is not your ordinary No. 2 tight end, as he would be the starter for many other teams in the NFL. In this one, he figures to play a huge role, and for Las Vegas to win against Philadelphia, he needs to come up big like he did on the touchdown grab.

Raiders looking to go into the bye week at 5-2
Las Vegas has been through a roller coaster of a season already in 2021, as they were 3-0, then lost two straight, as well as their head coach. They looked a lot better last weekend against Denver, and are starting to make a move against the Eagles in Week 7.
There is still a lot of football left, but the pass rush is starting to get to Jalen Hurts, and Eagles running back Miles Sanders went down with an injury. The odds are stacked in the Raiders’ favor, and hopefully, Carr can continue to pick apart this Philadelphia secondary.
