Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles: 2021 Week 7 Offensive Grades

Offensive Line

The hardest part of nearly every week is to write about the offensive line woes of the Raiders — however, that is finally not the case. The Raiders’ offensive line was superb in this contest.

Derek Carr was kept clean, and not sacked once. Out of the 35 pass-blocking snaps, he was pressured only five times. It seems the move of Alex Leatherwood to guard is finally seeing the fruit of Tom Cable’s labor, as the running game accumulated almost 120 yards on the ground.

It also seems the offensive line has increased its play since the departure of Jon Gruden, and with a much-needed bye this week, it should signal starting guard Richie Incognito to finally return from injury.

For an offensive line that is already improving, it seems it may be adding an even better piece to it. This offensive line was key to Carr looking downfield and firing for over 300 yards, and the Raiders’ backs rushing consistently and strong. Chalk up a win in the column for this offensive line, Bravo men, Bravo.
