3 reasonable expectations for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021 Week 10
The defense forces two turnovers
The Las Vegas Raiders defense has been much better than expected this season, as we knew Yannick Ngakoue would make an impact, but he has been well worth the money. Ngakoue and Maxx Crosby are one of the more dominant pass rush duos in the NFL, and they will be going up against a banged-up Chiefs offensive line Sunday night.
That combination is going to lead to a lot of pressure on Patrick Mahomes, who is having his worst season as a pro in 2021. That is not to say Mahomes isn’t going to have a big game on Sunday, but the truth is, if he is under pressure constantly, he is going to try and force things, which has been his MO since coming to the league.
Turnovers have been tough to come by for the Raiders this season, but that could change on Sunday night in front of the home crowd. I like the team to get at least one interception from Mahomes, as he has gone only two games this season without one, while also forcing a fumble on him in the backfield.
