Las Vegas Raiders at Dallas Cowboys: 3 bold predictions in Week 12

Bold Prediction 3: Raiders have a chance to win at the end

The Raiders have been completely routed the last two weeks. There is no other way to put it. In their games against both the Chiefs and the Bengals, any chance of a Raiders’ win was pretty much gone by the end of the third quarter.

It appears a similar result is expected this week, as the Raiders are currently underdogs by more than a touchdown for Thursday’s matchup, despite the Cowboys being without Amari Cooper (Covid-19) and possibly CeeDee Lamb (concussion).

The Raiders, though, are going to be in full desperation mode on Thursday, as stated earlier. Las Vegas is fighting for their season and some, namely Derek Carr, maybe fighting for their jobs. The Cowboys are also coming off an emotional game against the Chiefs and have a looming primetime game with the Saints next week, so they could easily be looking ahead in this one.

The Raiders’ defense will do enough to keep them in the game and their offense will finally come alive. While this Cowboys team may just be too talented for the Raiders to overcome and put their season back on the right track, it will not be surprising if Derek Carr has the ball in his hands late with a chance to win the game.

If so, it will certainly leave Carr with a chance to turn this thing around, in a situation he is comfortable with, that sums up a lot of his Raiders’ career… a game-winning drive.
