Could the Raiders add another offensive Pro Bowler in Julio Jones?
Why it makes sense
With a loaded offense that features top-flight talent such as Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller, Las Vegas does not need him to be the Julio Jones of old. Often going to be the fourth option, he would have the chance to exploit some juicy mismatches as defenses have to pick their poison.
In a move that would be straight out of Madden, the Raiders could add to an offense that already looms to be one of the best in the league. There is no telling the effect he could have on the younger wideouts as well. In need of receivers, throwing a dart at one of the best to ever do it is never a bad idea.
No surprise here as much of the national media is being critical of the Las Vegas Raiders' recent trade for Davante Adams.
The truth is, the Raiders are already looking explosive on the offensive side of the ball, and have more needs on defense than they do on offense right now. However, Jones could be had a very reasonable price, and with the regime in win-now mode, why not at least test the waters and see what it would take to bring him in.
