Raiders 2022 NFL Mock Draft: Reloading the offensive line and more

227. player. 875. . Wide Receiver. Aggies . Deven Thompkins

The Raiders have one of the best slot receivers in the league in Hunter Renfrow but adding additional depth wouldn’t hurt. Especially one that possesses speed and plays with a high level of confidence, which will help him on a team that’ll be driven by competition this training camp.

Though he’s somewhat undersized, Thompkins has an underrated skill set fueled by his notable burst, which allows him to beat coverage at the line of scrimmage. He has more than enough twitch to change directions at the drop of a hat, and he creates plenty of separation.

On top of being an above-average route runner, Thompkins makes the most of his athleticism to help him dominate out of the slot and will consistently get open, which should bode well in Sin City. With this haul, the Raiders reload along the offensive line, get a little more depth at wide receiver, and add to two weak spots on defense, cornerback and defensive tackle.

This would be a major win for Ziegler and company.
