Raiders 2022 NFL Draft: 5 athletic gems to find on Day 3

Matt Waletzko (RAS Score:9.95)

Consensus RK #152

In the modern NFL, teams are looking for offensive tackles that can move in space. North Dakota’s Matt Waletzko is exactly that type of player and has the wingspan that will entice any offensive line coach.

A four-year starter, Waletzko anchored one of the best offensive lines in the FCS ranking third in fewest sacks allowed. The length (97th percentile) and a 9.95 RAS give the profile of someone who could be a quality pass protector in the NFL if given time to develop.

It is no big secret that the offensive line is a key for the Raiders in this draft and a place where they could focus their efforts in the second phase of free agency. Waletzko is an incredible athlete who could prove to be a versatile player at the next level, and the Raiders need all the help they can get up front.
