Raiders 2022 schedule release: What is the toughest stretch?
Weeks 1 through 3
The Raiders head into Los Angeles to face off against the Chargers in Week 1. A game that will have not only some early intense rivalry blood here, but also the Chargers will be hell-bent on exacting revenge; the Raiders ended their season in Week 18 last season, which stamped a playoff berth for the Silver and Black, and an early exit for Los Angeles.
Week 2 features the former team of newly acquired defensive end Chandler Jones in the Arizona Cardinals, which will also play host for the franchise’s home opener. Jones and crew will have a difficult task in trying to keep a stronghold on the elusiveness and big-play ability to oppose quarterback Kyler Murray.
In Week 3, we see the Raiders traveling for the second time in three weeks, but this time; a much greater distance to Nashville. They will have to face off against a perennial playoff contender in the Tennessee Titans, who not only boasts a relentless defense but one of the most dangerous running backs in the league in Derrick Henry.
