Las Vegas Raiders: Best storylines for each 2022 regular-season game
Week 2 – Arizona Cardinals
In six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Chandler Jones accumulated 71.5 sacks and 84 TFLs. Now he will face his former team and an offensive line that ranked middle of the pack in sacks and adjusted sack rate in 2021, according to Football Outsiders.
Week 3 – @ Tennessee Titans
Are the Raiders ready for King Henry? Tennesse was a top-five rushing offense in 2021 in terms of yards, and the Raiders were middle of the road as a rushing defense (16th).
Miek Vrabel will always have his team ready so let’s hope the Raiders are up for the physical challenge.
Week 4 – Denver Broncos
Week 4 will be the Raiders’ first chance to play against the Russell Wilson-led Broncos.
Is Denver ready to be a true competitor in the AFC? The Raiders will get an answer very early.
Week 5 – @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs did some offseason changes by trading away Tyreek Hill. So this will be a new-look offense for Patrick Mahomes.
Regardless, they remain the kings of the division, and the Raiders are chasing where the Chiefs already are. This will be a great chance on Monday Night football to show the league the Raiders are ready to take a leap.
