Raiders free agent target – Landon Collins, DB

The Raiders failed to boost their secondary by missing out on Bradberry, but Landon Collins can help the safety position. Though he’s listed as a strong safety, Collins can bring both versatility and much-needed experience to a relatively young but promising group of safeties.

He’s shockingly gone under the radar this offseason, but make no mistake, he’d be a solid addition to Patrick Graham’s defense, largely because he can roam the field as a hybrid defender. He would flourish under Graham, playing a safety-linebacker role with the Raiders. In addition, his reputation precedes him as one of the more technically refined tacklers in the league.

Graham’s defense is known for bringing their safeties on blitzes regularly, and in this department, Collins would be of use as he totaled 87 blitzes in the last four years, sacking the quarterback six times.
