The stage is set for the Las Vegas Raiders to be quite explosive on offense next season, but could they have two wideouts catch 100 balls in 2022?
When looking at the roster for the 2022 Las Vegas Raiders, it is very easy to get excited about what they could do on the offensive side of the ball. The franchise brought in Derek Carr’s best friend, and the NFL’s top wideout in Davante Adams this offseason, adding to an already impressive group of skill guys on that side of the ball.
Last season, Raider Nation saw Henry Ruggs III look like a possible breakout star early on, before his career, and life got derailed. With Ruggs out of the lineup, Hunter Renfrow when from a very good player to a bonafide star, catching 100 balls and becoming the lifeblood of this Raiders offense.
In a season with so many ups and downs, and injuries to key players, Renfrow was a constant for the Silver and Black, and should only improve in Josh McDaniels’s offense. When you figure Adams will be the No. 1 option on the outside, could Las Vegas have two 100-catch wideouts in 2022?
Adams and Renfrow to be a special pairing for the Raiders
Over his past four seasons, Adams has gone over the 100-catch mark three times, including a career-high 123 grabs this past campaign. He has already established himself as a No. 1 wideout as he makes his Raiders debut this season and based on his friendship, and previous playing experience with Carr, they should have no problem rekindling the magic that made those Fresno State offenses so fun to watch.
During his coaching career, McDaniels has been known to get the most out of his slot receivers, making him and Renfrow an exciting pairing. I believe that both players will go over the 100-catch mark this upcoming season, as the Raiders put together one of the more prolific passing attacks in the entire NFL.
3 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will have the best defense in the AFC West in 2022
The Raiders defense has struggled for decades. In this article I list the reasons I believe they will have the best defense in the AFC West in 2022.
The offensive line has to do their job, and there are questions there, but if this offense gets it going through the air, they have enough firepower to beat anybody on their schedule. Oh yeah, they also have a potential 100-catch machine in tight end, Darren Waller.
Hold onto your hats Raider Nation.
