The Las Vegas Raiders will battle it out against Kansas City in primetime in Week 5, and here are some keys for them to come away with the victory.

It took until the fourth game of the 2022 NFL season, but the Las Vegas Raiders finally won a game this past Sunday. Playing against their division rival, Denver, the Silver and Black attacked on the ground, opening up big holes for star running back Josh Jacobs in the 32-23 victory inside Allegiant Stadium.

Now, they turn their attention to another AFC West rival, the Kansas City Chiefs, looking to make it two straight before the bye week.

Let Jacobs eat

After abandoning the run through the first three games of the season, head coach Josh McDaniels let Josh Jacobs eat against Denver, and the results were terrific. Jacobs showed why he has the ability to be an every-down back for the Raiders, and appears poised to have his best season as a pro in 2022.

Against Kansas City, the Raiders must establish the run right out of the gate, even if it means Jacobs carries the ball ten times in the first quarter. His ability to make people miss and get tough yards will open up the rest of the offense, and right now, that seems like the key for the Silver and Black going forward.
