Las Vegas Raiders fantasy football: Start or Sit in 2022 Week 5

Start em

Derek Carr

Derek Carr has certainly not had the start to the season that he would have hoped, but he has an excellent chance to have his season performance in week 5.

The Chiefs have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, so the opportunities will be there. The Buccaneers threw for 385 yards and three touchdowns last week against this secondary.

The Raiders will have to put up points if they want to win this game, and the Chiefs will enter week 5 with the best statistical rush defense in the league, so Carr will have to be relied on far more than he was against Denver.

Davante Adams

If Carr is going to have a breakout game, he will need his running mate on the outside. Davante Adams got back on track last week with nine catches for 101 yards and should find more success on Monday night.

The Chiefs gave up 100 yards each to Mike Williams and Mike Evans, so there could be a trend of struggling against top-level receivers. Adams is a step above those two, which should result in him being targeted early and often.
